CREATIVE CRAFTING
LEAGUES NOW FORMING!!!!
Being a team member gives you the
perfect opening (I don't want to use the
word "excuse" here) to say to your
family, "Oh, I'm sorry. I can't tonight
- I have my Crafting League". It gets
you to commit to scrapbooking (or other
projects) on a weekly basis. If that is
one of your New Year's Resolutions then
being on one of these teams will help
you to achieve your goal. And....of
course it's gonna be a whole lot of FUN!
Join Laura, on Tuesday nights, as we
meet weekly for 5 hours - from 4pm-9pm -
for 8 consecutive weeks. This league
will start Tuesday, February 16th and
finish Tuesday, April 6th. The league
fees are $60. Your fee must be paid in
advance - there will be no refunds for
missed meets but substitutes are very
welcome!
Your team will enjoy some friendly
competition while scrapping. Members can
earn points by completing pages, cards
or other personal projects and doing a
variety of other challenges in that 5
hour period.
League Fees Cover:
Craft time and space
Munchies, chocolate and beverages
8 weeks of uninterrupted crafting time
Mystery prize drawing each week
banquet at the end of the season
It's okay to come late and leave early.
You can increase your chances for prizes
by meeting the different challenges that
will be posted at each meet. Scoring
will work for pages, cards, sorting
photos, mini books, knitting, beading
and whatever other projects you have on
your personal "to do" list.
So, find your team (4 peeps on each
team). Come up with a great team name -
maybe even design shirts, hats or
whatever else you can dream up! Wanna
join but don't have a team? Don't worry,
we'll help you create one and help you
make new friends in the process!
